Welcome to the
Helios Partners Program
Astral aims to scale the Helium network by working with venue partners to extend the network coverage.
Why join the Helios Partners Program?
Helios Partner supports the decentralise movement to democratise the peer-to-peer – Helium network. By extending the Helium network, partners provide their city with low-power network coverage for billions of devices globally, and at the same time generating rewards yield (referred to as ‘mining’) which are paid out by the program on a monthly cadence.
We understand that most people doesn’t want to deal with the hassle to manage the hardware, and monitoring the rewards. We will handle all the logistics and ensure that you have a trusted partner throughout your Helium mining journey.

Your network & reception performance will be professionally calibrated by our network team
What’s in for you as a Helios Partner?
Extend the Helium network and support a decentralise movement
Generate rewards for supporting the network
How do I earn with Helios Partners Program?
The Helium network aims to delivers secure, ubiquitous, and affordable wireless connectivity.
By hosting the Helium hotspot, you generate rewards from the Helium network as an incentive to relay the data for the network of IoT devices – like a telco cell tower, except you are the telco now.
Rewards are awarded in the form of a digital token called HNT, which we managed for you and pay out in your local currency.
Generally, the better coverage your miner can provide, the better the rewards yield. Typically, a venue with higher elevation, and with clear radial line of sight generate better yield.
Phase 1: Partners registration process
-
Considering hosting a Helium hotspot? Let us know that you are keen, and we’ll sort out the rest.
-
By registering your interest, we’ll do a quick preliminary assessment on our end to make your your venue is suitable to host a Helium hotspot.
-
If all goes well, we’ll reach out to you for a non-obligatory discussion, and to fill you in the details and any questions you might have pertaining to the program.
Phase 2: Onboarding Helios Partners
-
We’ll run a quick checklist with you at your premise to ensure your place is suitable, and you know what you are signing up for.
-
We’ll send our team to your place to install the Helium hotspot, this can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
-
Once the Helium hotspot is installed, we’ll monitor the performance make any necessary optimisation to ensure you are maximising your yield.
Phase 3: Receiving your rewards
-
We’ll need your locally-registered bank account to facilitate the payment process.
-
Payments are disbursed monthly, and directly into your bank account. Yay, hassle-free!
No upfront cost.
While Astral will install our hotspot miner at your premise, there are no upfront deposit, or payment of any kind that you have to make become a Helios Partner. Don’t worry, we’ll walk you through the process so you know what you’re signing up for.
Get rewarded.
Rewards vary from locations to locations. On average, a Helium hotspot can expect a monthly yield of $30 to $60 in Partners rewards (more in some ideal locations). Get in touch with our friendly consultant to get an assessment today!
FAQs
-
Helium is a global, decentralized network of hotspots that creates a mesh of public, long-range wireless coverage for LoRaWAN-enabled IoT devices. Hotspots operators are compensated in HNT, the native digital token of the Helium blockchain.
-
IoT refers to Internet of Things. They are hardware products that are embedded with sensors, capable of processing data, and relay data with other devices in the same network.
-
Yes. Our company holds & uses hotspots that are strictly in compliance with the country’s telecommunication standards and licenses. We are also a registered company that holds the necessary licenses for our operations.
-
A hotspot uses approximately the same energy as a 5W LED light-bulb, which is as low as a cent per day.
-
We take privacy very seriously. The hotspot’s only purpose is to transmit/secure data to and from the network, it does not have an inbuilt mic or camera.
-
It consumes about 30 - 40GB of data a month. Most landlines are unmetered (please check with your telco) and can manage the data up/down stream comfortably.
-
Yes, it is safe. A hotspot emits .07% of maximum permissible exposure to RF devices, it only does that around 4 times a day.
